EuroShop – the world’s largest retail trade fair – takes place in Düsseldorf, Germany on 16th to 20th February 2020 and ShopperTrak is delighted to be part of it. If you’re heading to the iconic show, come and see us at the Sensormatic Solutions Stand C01 in Hall 6.
We’ll be ready to show you exactly how to fast track store performance with customer behaviour insights.
Demos to take you forward
The retail sector is famously future-oriented and dynamic. To reflect this, EuroShop 2020 will host eight fascinating ‘retail dimensions’, covering all the trends and topics that are shaping the evolution of shopping. The Sensormatic Solutions stand will be part of the ‘Retail Technology Dimension’ which showcases fast-developing technologies including Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Smart Store, customer engagement, mobile payment and cloud-based services.
This is the ideal setting for the Sensormatic Solutions team to present 12 demos during the show. These explain how we enable smart, connected shopper engagements, and use real-time visibility and predictive analytics to streamline operations in retail. Demos also focus on how data and technology can be harnessed to create safe and secure environments for shoppers and employees across retail stores and shopping centres.
Discover traffic data insights at EuroShop
Facing economic and competitive pressures, most European retailers are eager to improve operational efficiencies and deliver an enhanced shopper experience. ShopperTrak people counting technology and data analytics help retailers and landlords better understand shopper behaviour. With rich insights, they can begin to tailor their offer and service levels to the exact needs of local shoppers, having gained understanding of power hours, seasonal peaks and dwell times.
Our special presentation planned for EuroShop digs deep into what can be achieved.
Thomas Hillebrand, General Manager Europe and Global Accounts at ShopperTrak, part of Sensormatic Solutions, will focus on a recent project – Designer Outlet Croatia and IngKa Centres – which reveals how traffic data insights are being used to measure the success of a unique hybrid development – and drive improvements.
Face the retail future
Thomas will show how the ShopperTrak traffic counting and analytics solution has allowed the site owner, IngKa Centres, to closely monitor the visitor impact across its Ikea store and the designer outlet centre next door. The preliminary results have proved that construction of Designer Outlet Croatia next to Ikea has been a worthwhile investment.
One of the key benefits has been the ability to identify the most attractive locations in the premium outlet village, and confirm which brands generate the most traffic and help to increase dwell time. Designer Outlet Croatia can now respond to a wealth of metrics, addressing current and future customer behaviour challenges.
The ongoing potential of this kind of data gathering will be discussed during Thomas’ presentation. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see data in action.
We look forward to meeting you at EuroShop
Digitalised, omnichannel retailing is revolutionising relations between buyer and seller, customer and brand. Shopping is becoming an interactive high-tech experience, and customer demands are constantly in a state of flux.
In this climate the smart use of data to track and predict behaviour is paramount. Traffic analytics – as used at Designer Outlet Croatia – can take the uncertainty out of major investments in physical retail and help ensure shoppers relish the experience and want to repeat their visit.
